Arkansas Brahman Breeders:
As we bring in fall and the cooler weather we want to reminder you that we have several things coming up on the calendar.
The Arkansas State Fair will be held in Little Rock at the state fairgrounds from October 12-22nd. We will be having an ABBA meeting during the fair on Tuesday, October 17th at 6:30 at the booth. We will be taking a group membership photo at our ABBA booth during the meeting and would love to have you join us! This meeting is for anyone that has interest in Brahman cattle and percentage Brahman cattle production, not just our Brahman show cattle industry.
This time is going to be a great opportunity come together to express ideas you may have for the association, as well as, plan for future events. You are an important part of this association and we want to hear your ideas to keep this great association moving forward.
We have been granted the opportunity to market Brahman and Brahman influenced cattle at the Four States Classic Cream of the Crop sale. The sale is coming up quickly and will be held on November 25th at 1:00pm at the Hope Livestock Facility. We have been given a great opportunity to market our Brahman cattle and Brahman influenced cattle at this extremely successful cattle sale. All cattle cosigned by current ABBA members that qualify for the special consignment, will compete in a sale pen. These cattle will be graded and winners will be awarded a buckled and have a phot op at the sale. If you are interested in consigning cattle in the sale there is still plenty of time. You will need to call our President John Allen to arrange viewing and qualifying of all cattle.
